For this week’s double-feature, did you guess the identity of the little sweetheart in the sunny yellow dress?  It’s Marie Lavender who is returning to Seasons of Love this week to share one of her historical romances.

Marie says,

I truly fell in love with the characters in this book.  Being a sequel, it was, of course, nice to revisit the hero and heroine from the previous novel.  But, the newer characters were very enjoyable for me to learn about.  Upon Your Honor takes place exactly 23 years after Upon Your Return.  It was fun to fill in those gaps and introduce some new faces.  Chloe Waverly, the heroine of the book, is a very brave, very interesting character.  And for reasons unknown to her, she is drawn to our hero Gabriel.  He is handsome and the perfect gentlemen (with a little devil inside…LOL).  Throw in the suspense, what Chloe is running from, and I think it makes for a compelling story anyone can enjoy.
